PRO Model Strut Locating Fixture Set

This strut locating fixture is the setup we use and market with our PRO model chassis table. Take the guess work out of locating the strut or strut cup location on the chassis precisely.  You don't need a strut to locate the strut cup location when building the front half of a race car.  

Universal Strut Locating Fixture Specs:

• Mounting holes are 3/8" on 2" centers
• Full 1/4” tab and slot steel construction
• Spindle Height: 12"-14" (24"-28" Front Tire)
• Strut Cup Mount: 0-20 deg (Inboard and Aft) (most race cars are built with 10 deg positive caster)
• King Pin Angle: 0-20 deg (most struts are 10 deg)
• Can be used with a Strange or Anglia spindle (if using an Anglia spindle, you will need 2 pieces of 1 1/4 .058 tube 3 3/4" long to adapt)
• Threaded rod can be used to locate the strut cup (you will need to know the strut compressed length to properly locate)
• Spindle/strut cup assembly fixture (5 axis fixture)
  • Fixture the front strut cups with or without a strut
  • Allows for building A arms and steering rack/tierods without a strut
